The theatrics garner the attention and no debate can be made on the issue because the sentiment is that the parties involved only want media attention. That said, I want my President to suck it up and come up with another solution for Iraq, troops are not the answer. Something to think about:

"After you've done a thing the same way for two years, look it over carefully. After five years, look at it with suspicion. And After ten years, throw it away and start all over." -Alfred Edward Perlman

"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind." - William Blake

"He that will not apply new remedies must expect new evils; for time is the greatest innovator." -Francis BaconAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7402968.post-1130390449389336382005-10-27T01:20:00.000-04:002005-10-27T01:20:00.000-04:00She's just effectively spreading awareness. No, but seriously. Of course I think about the war. I think about it every day" -George W. He is not really worried about that.

As for Sheehan, it just happens to be a coincidence that I share a similar feeling with her in that we both want our troops to quick risking their lives in Iraq. What I am saying, is that her methods of expressing her disapproval are counterproductive, not helpful, and tend to incite resentment among people.

By the way, she did not accomplish her goal - her PR team accomplished it for her. And as for me spreading the word, yeah, I want our troops back in America.CCJMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01028931387440166761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7402968.post-1130378076299317412005-10-26T21:54:00.000-04:002005-10-26T21:54:00.000-04:00Well, she has obviously accomplished her goal in h...Well, she has obviously accomplished her goal in having her voice heard, so she can't be that idiotic. Even the moron who operates this blog helped spread the word. Bush's voice, stunts, and overall publicity are doing nothing productive nor supportive to ending our occupation in Iraq, either...and he's the President, not the parent of a child who was murdered in Iraq.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7402968.post-1130353336969313022005-10-26T15:02:00.000-04:002005-10-26T15:02:00.000-04:00This is some bul**hit right here. What is most puzzling to me in the article is the random quote in all capital letters towards the bottom of the article that reads 'HUMAN COST OF A LIE.' It does not appear to have been said by anybody nor does it preface a section of the article. It is just some random liberal quote in all capital letters in the middle of the article. It is obviously referring to the "fact" that president Bush lied to everybody about the Iraq war, to which Hillary Clinton recently blamed her YES vote on the war. 'I voted for the war because Bush lied to me,' was her excuse.

In other news, here Hillary (or Senator Clinton to some) is ending a sentence in a preposition before a jubilant crowd of liberal sycophants and toadies:
Asked about Bush Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers, Clinton said she's eager for the Senate confirmation process to be played out. She did say there is one question she thinks Miers should be asked.

"Please tell us one thing you disagree with the president on," Clinton said to loud applause from the crowd.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
